AI Engineer / Python Developer

You are responsible for pushing MrWork’s AI stack forward, with a strong focus on LLM-driven systems, retrieval, and agent orchestration.
This role is built around the belief that AI is not just a feature, but a fundamental shift in how we develop products. You actively contribute to this shift by building the AI components that power our product and by helping the wider team work smarter with AI.
Key Responsibilities
- AI-First Engineering
Actively experiment with and integrate the latest AI technologies into both the product and internal workflows - LLM & Retrieval Systems
Design and build LLM-powered features, including RAG pipelines, embeddings and retrieval systems - Agent Orchestration & Context Engineering
Build and maintain agent workflows, including context engineering, tool use and orchestration logic - Backend & API Development
Design and build high-performance services and APIs using Python and FastAPI - Full-Cycle Delivery
Independently deliver AI features end-to-end, from prototype to production, following solid software development practices (CI/CD, testing, databases) - Knowledge Sharing & Team Enablement
Actively share insights and improve the team’s understanding and usage of AI tools and best practices
Required Experience / Skills
- AI Mindset (Core Requirement)
You fully embrace the shift towards AI-driven development and actively look for ways to work smarter and build better using AI - Python & FastAPI
Proven experience building services with Python and FastAPI - Computer Science Background
A computer science background, or clearly equivalent hands-on experience - LLM & RAG Experience
Hands-on experience with LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) - Context Engineering & Agent Orchestration
Experience designing context and orchestrating agent workflows - Software Engineering Practices
Solid grounding in software development best practices: CI/CD, databases, testing and clean code
Preferred Qualifications
- Data Engineering
Experience with ETL pipelines, AWS Glue or PySpark - LLM Finetuning
Experience finetuning LLMs - Data Science / ML Background
Related data science or machine learning experience or background
