New colleagues, new energy! Since 1 May, Shereen and Tula have joined MrWork's team. They talk candidly about their route to MrWork, their first impressions and why they are already happy with their choice.
A tip, a click and a new job
That referrals are incredibly valuable is evident. Both Tula van de Zande and Shereen van Lierop found their jobs at MrWork through their networks. Tula tells about her search: "After graduating last year, I started travelling and when I returned to the Netherlands in early 2025, it was time to look for a cool job. I did not yet know exactly what I wanted, but I did know that sales appealed to me. Through my brother - who knows MrWork as a user - contact was then made with Erik (Account Executive at MrWork) and I started talking. It clicked so well that I am now working as a Trainee in the Business Development Team!"
Shereen, Solutions Architect Onboarding & Implementation, also heard about MrWork through word of mouth: "My previous employer had been acquired and so I was looking at another job.
During my search, I had come across MrWork before, but I did not know the organisation and so had not taken any immediate action. But then former colleagues tipped me about an opportunity at MrWork and said they thought it was something for me because MrWork s needs (process optimisation and scaling up) matched my interests and ambitions. Then I started talking to Mees and it turned out they were right, as I now enjoy working here."

Relaxed and ambitious
Tula and Shereen tasted the same atmosphere during their job interviews. "In the interviews, I immediately felt a lot of enthusiasm, an open atmosphere and flat structure. At the same time, everyone is very driven and ambitious. The balance between those two things is exactly right for me," Shereen says.
Tula adds: "I feel the same way. At MrWork, you find hard workers who want to achieve something together, but with attention to each other and in a relaxed atmosphere. Making new things and achieving goals together, without hierarchy. I really like that."

"Now that I have been working there for over a month, I can say that the image I got is actually true. Birthdays are paid attention to, we have lunch together and there was great understanding when I had to work remotely in my first weeks for private reasons. MrWork is exactly what I wanted and what I hoped for. The family atmosphere, the freedom you get and the will to grow, that's exactly how I am myself," Shereen points out.
A smooth start
As of 1 May, Shereen and Tula started working at MrWork. What did their first weeks look like? Tula says: "Jaap had prepared an onboarding plan for me, so I knew what to expect. I met lots of colleagues and they explained the software to me. In addition, I immediately joined customer meetings, so you quickly get a good idea of the customer needs and how our solution fits them."

"My start at MrWork was very nice because it was well organised. Ruud had prepared my arrival with access to the right tools, a list of people I needed to talk to and a plan with priorities for the first weeks. As a result, things went very smoothly. In addition, everyone was open and helpful, which made me feel comfortable right away," Shereen said.
Ready for growth
Both ladies chose MrWork because they want to grow. Tula says: "In MrWork 's traineeship, it is very concrete which steps I can take in which timeframe, so I already know that I will learn a lot in a short time. The sales team also thinks along with me and involves me in topics that are interesting to me. Plus: I can ask anyone anything. I'm ready to develop myself into an Account Executive!"
Shereen had a clear preference for a scale-up, so she could grow with the organisation: "My goal is to contribute to structuring customer onboarding and get MrWork ready for more growth and scale-up. I feel that all colleagues see the urgency of this and are ready for improvement. You normally still taste resistance to change, but at MrWork this is definitely not the case. Everyone wants to move forward!"
