So what does a recruitment AI colleague actually look like in practice? Every week, our sales team records a short demo for social media: the Recruitment AI use case of the week. In this round-up blog, we’ve compiled the first three episodes. You’ll see how founder Mees demonstrates in three minutes what MrWork is capable of, how Tula enables a candidate to apply via WhatsApp, and how Kevin automatically pre-qualifies a candidate and forwards them to the ATS. All three involve an AI colleague, each deployed to handle a different part of your recruitment process.

TLDR | Every week, our sales team shares a short demo under the heading ‘Recruitment AI use case of the week’, to show – in just a few minutes – how an AI colleague works within MrWork , amongst other things. In this blog, we’ve compiled the first three videos. Founder and CEO Mees van Velzen kicks things off with a comprehensive three-minute demo, giving a bird’s-eye view of the entire platform. Next, sales colleague Tula zooms in on applying for jobs via WhatsApp: a candidate responds to a vacancy on your website directly via WhatsApp and is immediately picked up by an AI colleague who asks the initial questions. Finally, sales colleague Kevin demonstrates how that same AI colleague pre-qualifies candidates and automatically adds them to the ATS, without the need for a separate tool or integration. Three different perspectives, but always the same core idea: saving time and being available to candidates at all times. And, on top of that, ensuring a better candidate experience.

What is the Recruitment AI use case of the week?

Every week, our sales team records a short video for LinkedIn: the Recruitment AI use case of the week. In it, one of our colleagues demonstrates in a few minutes how to use a specific feature of MrWork . It’s not a detailed product presentation, but a practical example: this is what your AI colleague does for you, and this is what it looks like for the candidate.

Great for recruiters who are already using MrWork and are looking for inspiration, and just as valuable for recruiters who are still on the fence: you can see exactly what a recruitment AI colleague delivers in practice before you start using it yourself. In this blog, we’ve summarised the last three episodes.

Don’t miss the latest Recruitment AI use case of the week

Every Thursday at 4.00 pm, we share a new episode of ‘Recruitment AI use case of the week’. Check out our LinkedIn page so you don’t miss a single episode.

Video 1: Mees gives a 3-minute tour of MrWork

Founder and CEO Mees van Velzen kicks off the series with a comprehensive demo. Rather than a deep dive into a single feature, this is a bird’s-eye view tour of MrWork : how a candidate engages with an AI colleague, how that AI colleague is trained on your own vacancies and procedures, and how it all comes together in your ATS. In just three minutes, you’ll see at a glance what MrWork is all about: a recruitment AI colleague that takes care of the initial contact with candidates, so you can focus on the interviews that really matter. This is how we improve both the recruiter and candidate experience.

This video is a good place to start if you haven’t come across ‘ MrWork ’ before, or if you want to show a colleague in three minutes what recruitment using AI involves these days.

Video 2: Tula demonstrates how applying for a job via WhatsApp works

Our colleague Tula focuses on one specific aspect: applying for jobs via WhatsApp. She demonstrates how a candidate can respond to a vacancy on your website directly via WhatsApp, without having to fill in a lengthy form or upload a CV. As soon as the message comes in, an AI colleague takes over the conversation and asks the first relevant questions. Exactly as you’ve trained and familiarised the AI colleague – in line with your process, vacancies and tone of voice.

This is no small matter: candidates who apply in the evening or at the weekend, in particular, would rather not have to wait until Monday morning for a response. An AI colleague that responds straight away lowers the barrier to applying and prevents candidates from switching to a vacancy with a competitor. It’s exactly the sort of moment when recruitment doesn’t stop, even if no one from the team is online.

Video 3: Kevin uses his AI colleague to pre-screen candidates and prepare them in the ATS

In the third video, our colleague Kevin demonstrates how the AI colleague asks the screening questions and then adds the candidate to the ATS. No separate tool or additional integration is required: everything simply runs via MrWork. The AI colleague asks the questions you have set up yourselves, assesses the answers and immediately moves candidates who meet the criteria on to the next stage in the ATS.

For recruiters, this mainly means saving time: no more telephone pre-screening for every incoming application, but only interviews with candidates who have already been pre-qualified. This is exactly the sort of repetitive work that an AI colleague takes over, so that recruiters can focus on the candidates who really matter.

Why these three examples are relevant to your recruitment process

The three videos show different sides of the same AI colleague, but the common thread is always the same: saving time and being available at all times, even outside office hours. That is exactly what customers of MrWork see in practice.

And no, an AI colleague doesn’t have to feel impersonal. A candidate always knows they’re talking to an AI colleague, and the AI colleague hands the conversation over to a recruiter at the right moment, including all the context. What’s more, the great thing is that each use case can be implemented independently of the others: you don’t have to overhaul your entire recruitment process all at once to start seeing benefits in one area, such as WhatsApp applications or pre-qualification.
